Why Go CampKit?
Camping is one of the most fun, healthy and affordable recreational options around. It's also one of the best ways we know of to nurture a lifelong love and respect for nature and to "get away from it all."
Regina Sakols is an artist and former international aid worker, and Dione Chen is a former high-tech marketing and communications manager. We teamed up to create Go CampKit to make it easier, faster and hassle-free for novice and frequent campers alike to prepare for and enjoy camping. Avid campers ourselves, we were dismayed to hear so many people tell us that they wished they camped more, but didn't because of the time and hassles of shopping, packing and preparing for camping trips.
It was hearing these concerns over and over again (sound familiar?) that led us to brainstorm how we could save campers time, money and effort in planning, preparing for and enjoying camping.
Go CampKit is the result of focus groups, research and personal experience. We haven't found another camp kit on the market quite like it.
If you're new to camping and don't have a camp kit or even know what a camp kit should include, Go CampKit is for you! Each Go CampKit comes pre-packed with essential camping equipment in a compact, rugged storage container (tote or footlocker style) so car campers and RV'ers don't have to shop for needed items and pack and repack for every trip. Every Go CampKits includes over 60 compact, lightweight, easy to use and care for items that are reliable, environment-friendly, and offer good value.
Each Go CampKit is hand-assembled. Customer orders can be customized to include additional items from our standard and "cool gear" product offerings. Each Go CampKit includes a specially designed camping accessory organizer that keeps small items easy to find.
